This website (the “Site”) is operated by Geneplanet d.o.o., registered in Slovenia at Cesta na Poljane 24, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, registration number 3277062000.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they set out the basis on which we provide you access to the Site and allow you to use the products and services offered through it. By using our Site and services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions have the same legal effect as a written agreement signed between you and Geneplanet d.o.o.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect 30 days after they are communicated to the user, which may include publication of a notice on the Site. Users are responsible for regularly reviewing the most recent version of the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you must stop using the Site immediately.

Website Description

Geneplanet d.o.o. platforms provide information about our products and services, as well as the option to purchase them after consultation with our advisor.

The platforms are intended for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. Before undergoing any test or treatment, you must consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Health-related information evolves rapidly. We therefore recommend confirming any information obtained through our platforms with your doctor.

Use of the Geneplanet d.o.o. Website

The platforms are not intended for use in medical emergencies. In the event of an emergency, you must immediately contact local emergency services.

How to Place an Order

Through the website https://it.nipt-geneplanet.com/, users may purchase the NIPT by Geneplanet prenatal test after consulting with our advisor. Users must provide the blood collection location (home service or partner facility) and their contact details.

Payment may be made via bank transfer or through the Stripe payment platform.

After payment, you will receive an electronic confirmation. Once the blood sample is collected, it will be sent to the laboratory. Test results are generally available by email within 10 working days, unless delays occur that are beyond the control of Geneplanet d.o.o.

The invoice will be sent electronically by the end of the accounting month.

Payment Methods

Available payment methods include:

• Bank transfer
• Stripe payment (MasterCard, Visa, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna, Scalapay)

Order Acceptance

All orders must be approved by Geneplanet d.o.o. You will receive confirmation and a copy of the order by email.

Test Results

The estimated delivery times for results are indicative and not binding. Results will be provided in PDF format, and users are responsible for storing them securely. Sharing of results is entirely at the user’s discretion.

Delivery of the report by email fulfills our contractual obligations.

User Declarations

By accessing our services, the user declares:

• That they are of legal age in their country of residence.
• That the biological sample provided is their own or from a person for whom they have legal authorization.
• That the transfer of samples from abroad does not violate local restrictions.
• That they accept responsibility for the disclosure of their test results.
• That personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• That they have no rights to any research or products derived from the analyses.
• That violations of these Terms may result in account termination.

Geneplanet d.o.o. may share personal data only with authorized parties and in compliance with applicable laws.

Anonymized results may be used for scientific purposes and service improvement.

Personal Data and Authorizations

We process personal data only in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We collect personal data for the following purposes:

• Sending sample collection kits
• Processing test results
• Communicating reports
• Providing any applicable health-related guidance

Kits are shipped through authorized third-party providers.

Right of Cancellation and Refund

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at nipt.italy@geneplanet.com.

If the sample has already been analyzed, a refund will not be possible. Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days of our confirmation.

In the event of defects in the product or service, Geneplanet d.o.o. may replace the service or refund the amount paid.

Use of Materials and Trademarks

All materials on the Site are protected by copyright and are the property of Geneplanet d.o.o. They may be used solely for personal and non-commercial purposes, provided that copyright notices are retained.

All trademarks are protected by law and belong to their respective owners.

Links to Other Websites

Links to third-party websites are provided for user convenience only. Geneplanet d.o.o. is not responsible for the content of external websites.

Warranties and Disclaimers

While we strive to provide accurate information, we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the content. Genetic or test results should not be relied upon as the sole basis for important decisions.

We do not guarantee that the Site will be free from errors, viruses, or interruptions.

Liability for Damages

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Geneplanet d.o.o. from any claims, damages, or costs arising from violations of these Terms.

By submitting content to Geneplanet d.o.o., the user grants a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use such content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

The tests provided are for personal use only. Geneplanet d.o.o. is not responsible for:

• Damage to samples during transport
• Side effects from blood collection
• Improper use of information contained in the test report

Our total liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the user.

Events Beyond Our Control

We will not be liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, epidemics, or strikes.

In such cases:

• We will inform you as soon as possible.
• Our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event.
• You may cancel the order if the delay exceeds 30 days.

Other Important Provisions

All communications by email will be sent to nipt.italy@geneplanet.com.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Failure to exercise any right shall not constitute a waiver of that right.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Slovenian law. This means that Slovenian law will apply to our products, services, website, and any disputes or claims related to them. The competent courts of Slovenia shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
